Charity Event Stream – Re-Watch Here >
On Friday, my charity event raising money for War Child and CALM came to a close, and I decided to commemorate it with a livestream, where I played all the songs from the “Across My Universe” compilation that I sold for that week only.
I think the stream went okay according to what my friends said, though to be honest after the first 20 minutes or so I felt that it went significantly downhill and I didn’t enjoy it much afterwards…
Regardless, I tried to put on the best show I could, and we ended up raising a nice extra chunk of donations for the charities, so I really can’t complain. Thank you for stopping by and watching if you did!

Well, not yet. The platform I sold the vinyls/CDs on, Elastic Stage, pays me with about a month’s delay due to processing, so A MONTH FROM NOW your donations will go to good causes ;) I’ll keep you updated.
New Album Coming This Week – “Nowhere Like Always” >
This is it! It’s finally being released!!!!!
In the autumn / early winter I accidentally wrote a new album (it genuinely wasn’t planned but it just happened), and I recorded it all in 3 days in late December.
The album is called Nowhere Like Always and it’s set to be released on March 7th under the name Glinter.
Glinter is a fictional band, and it’s the latest addition to my current obsession, the Jamaraz Music Universe.
This fictional band is set in the early 90s, with this album coming out in March 1993.
FANS OF PAVEMENT, TEENAGE FANCLUB & DINOSAUR JR: YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
Coming this Saturday, I’ll probably send out another email on the day x

I’M BACK ON THE ACTUAL MUSIC GRIND TOO!
As I mentioned in the last newsletter, I haven’t been recording a lot of music lately due to 1. planning stuff for the charity sale + upcoming JMU downloads release and 2. being ill last week…
BUT I’m back on it. I’m currently focusing on recording demos for SGH (Sweat Glass Halo, another fictional band of mine) songs, and I made one yesterday which is quite lovely.
It’s called “I Met You 13 Years Ago”, and it’s basically about a situation where you’ve known someone for absolutely ages, but only now you realise you like them and you wanna be with them.
I’m going to be posting it on my Patreon this coming Monday, then I’ll also share it with you guys in next week’s newsletter :-) IF YOU BEHAVE!
This is one of my JMU characters called Pete Wicker, he’s the singer/guitarist in Glinter.
I filmed a few videos as him, and I’ll be filming some more later this week too! You’ll get to know him a bit over the next few weeks I’m sure :-)
