Hello, hello, hello!!!
I’m back, but for some of you this might be the first email you’ve received from me, so welcome :-)
Every week I send out a little email like this that kind of summarises whatever I’ve been working on in that past week, and today’s a special day, as I come bearing gifts!!

Unreleased Demo Song – LISTEN & DOWNLOAD HERE >
[Note: Sorry, this demo isn’t publically available right now! Subscribe to my email list here to access everything I share]
As you may be aware if you saw my story on Instagram earlier, I promised to share with you guys a new demo I recorded for my fictional band project called Sweat Glass Halo.
It’s probably my favourite SGH song I’ve written so far!! Super catchy, I love the verses. It’s called (We’re Just) Digital Robots With Human Smiles.
I recorded it all last week, along with 3 other SGH demos, which ONLY members of my Patreon will get to listen to for now!!
If you listen to (We’re Just) Digital Robots With Human Smiles and you wanna listen to other similar stuff, then feel free to join my Patreon here, because it’s just the greatest way to support artists like me and get exclusive goodies in return! ;-)
I’ll be gradually posting the other 3 demos throughout the rest of this week!!

How I Made My Latest Music Video – WATCH HERE >
A couple weeks ago, my friend Sam and I filmed a music video for my song All Dressed Up, in which I wore some face paint and went around my city in a suit and tie for the video.
This video here is just a bit of a behind-the-scenes look at how Sam and I made it all!
This coming Saturday (Valentines day!) I will be posting a video about my upcoming single ‘Ruby’, where I talk a bit about the origin of the lyrics, and break down 3 awesome moments in the song with my 8-track cassette recorder (because the whole song was recorded on cassette!).
So look out for that video on my YouTube channel !!!!!
‘Ruby’ is being released on Feb 14th under the fictional band Glinter.

Other Things…
In the last week, my most popular song ‘Microwave’ turned 3 years old (has it been that long already???), and I also saw this indie band called Westside Cowboy play at The Bodega in Nottingham. They were great!! They’ve been getting increasingly more popular in the last year or so, so I’d keep an eye out for them in the future.
Supporting them that night was a Nottingham-based band called Pict, who I thought were incredible, and I recommend you check them out if you like indie music with a bit of a folk edge.
Anyway, that’s all from me for this week. I shall be back 7 moons from now with more cool stuff to share!!! Thanks for reading and see you then!
RJ

P.S.
Hello again. Since I know for a fair amount of people here this will be the first email you’ll receive from me, I thought it’d be quite nice if we got to know each other a bit.
So if you fancy, just reply to this email and tell me a bit about yourself!!! Maybe what your favourite song of mine is and why???
And if you’ve been subscribed for a while, first of all thank you for your loyalty, but second of all feel free to reply to this too and tell me more about yourself if you wish!
Thank you as always, I’m looking forward to reading your messages, see you next week :-D
